MENORAH CLUB
2022

WELCOME TO THE PARTY

We like making things, and we like sharing.

Making a new menorah is part of our Hanukah ritual every year. At some point a few years ago we thought it would be fun to give them to our friends too. They have ranged from simple blocks of wood, to sand cast bronze and aluminum, precision machined assemblies, press-formed sheet metal, and quite a few combinations therof. Its usually some view into a manufacturing process that we're excited about. These days its folded sheet metal. Last year we put the plasma torch on a robot arm and embraced the wobbly lines which worked but deprived us of the fussy details. This year we had spent a lot more time thinking about folding metal and had easy access to a metal-cutting laser, so its a little more refined. Also, powder coated. Because we still love powder coating.

We missed the print deadline for instructions, but made you a video to help you assemble it. Feel free to adjust the leg spacing to your taste. There's also a "reverse" configuration possible for the bold, but watch twice, fold once... thin metal doesn't like to be bent back and forth too many times.

We hope you have as much fun lighting them as we did making them!

With love,

Avi and Jared
